Polaris is a trading division of IG Design Group UK Ltd. As part of a large diverse group of companies we utilise the economies of scale that a large company has, ensuring costs are minimized and remaining competitive in the market. Polaris specialises in the supply of product for the away from home market. Polaris started trading in 1991 supplying refuse sacks and bin liners for janitorial, food service and non retail customers. Today our product range consist of paper carriers manufactured in our group facility in Wales, Tom Smith Catering Crackers manufactured in the worlds largest wholly owned Christmas Cracker factory located in China. We are still a major supplier of refuse sacks and bin liners and can also offer food grade bags of many varieties including, piping bags, vacuum pouches and storage bags. Polaris Plastics has a wide range of products to meet the needs of all the market sectors we serve and if it isn't part of our range or is bespoke we can help with that too. Our chosen raw material for refuse sacks is recycled pellet ensuring we help our customers to protect the environment as well as controlling the cost of the raw materials. This also helps our business and our customers to promote the re-use of plastic protecting the environment and our oceans. All food bags are manufactured from 100% virgin material which is certified food safe and produced in BRC (or equivalent) certified factories. Polaris refuse sacks are CHSA accredited guaranteeing what is on the box is in the box and giving our customer peace of mind that the sacks will perform the task it is designed for.
