PoloPlaz is a chemical manufacturer focused on hardwood floor finishes. The company produces its products in-house from proprietary formulations, ensuring formulations are tailored to their intended flooring applications and crafted from high-quality ingredients. Based in Jacksonville, Arkansas, its origins date to the early 1960s when it started as National Coatings Co. The founder had previously worked in polyurethane R&D at Union Carbide, and the business changed ownership in 1988 before adopting the PoloPlaz brand in 2006.

In 2017, PoloPlaz became part of Valentus Specialty Chemicals, integrating with other brands serving professional flooring needs. Its customers are flooring professionals seeking durable, reliable coatings, and PoloPlaz positions itself as a maker of in-house formulations rather than relying on contract manufacturers.
