The company was originally established by Richard Gerspach in 1958 as Island Pools. Island Pools started by simply supplying installation, service, and repairs to swimming pools. From these humble beginnings grew a larger company focusing on a nationwide reach for swimming pool parts and accessories.

We have expanded to include not only general pool supplies and backyard items, but it also has become the largest independent source of replacement parts to fit Kayak Pools®, and a manufacturer of parts for the solar deck heated Fanta-Sea Pools®. Sales of our products can be seen in prominent positions on numerous websites (including poolsupplies.com), as well as a 60-page, widely distributed print catalog.
