The Port of Everett is a public port authority located in Everett, Washington, on Puget Sound about 25 miles north of Seattle. It operates three lines of business—Seaport, Marina, and Real Estate—each supporting different facets of regional activity. The Seaport runs eight shipping berths on roughly 100 acres and specializes in oversized, high- and heavy-cargo handling, including parts for aerospace production; the Marina is the West Coast's largest public marina with more than 2,300 slips and a 13-lane boat launch; the Real Estate portfolio encompasses about 3,000 waterfront acres, including Jetty Island, and includes a major redevelopment plan called Waterfront Place to drive waterfront prosperity and public access.
