Founded in 1988, Portman Electric, Inc., has established itself as a leader in the Industrial, Commercial & Residential Electrical field. They are an experienced electrical contractor in the Industrial, Commercial & Residential field with over 35 years of experience in the electrical, servicing, and generator business.  Company owner, Jeff Portman, has grown the company through out this time to include a skilled team of journeyman electricians and factory certified generator technicians.

In 1998, Portman Electric started a generator business featuring Generac generators called Ohio Generator Experts.  They are a Generac PowerPro Elite Dealer, which is a representation of their client volume and continual growth.  Ohio Generator Experts as a division of Portman Electric is proud to be one of two Generac Elite Dealers in the tri-county area. Portman Electric also offers and provides customers with the option for Kohler Generators.

In 2016, Portman Electric added Einstein Plumbing Inc. to the Portman Company. With Einstein Plumbing Inc. along with Ohio Generator Experts and the experience of the electrical contractors from Portman Electric they are a true complete turnkey generator installer for residential, commercial, industrial and hotel backup systems. By acquiring Einstein Plumbing Inc., they now show up on site to install, maintain or repair generators that involve gas lines and can make sure that they are put in properly and efficiently.
