Portside Arts Center is a nonprofit, community-based arts organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It opened in January 2008 after renovating a 6,000-square-foot warehouse in Port Richmond to address the lack of after-school arts programming. The center offers a range of music, visual, and performing arts classes for local children and adults, with the aim of increasing access to the arts and providing a safe after-school space. The organization serves Port Richmond and the broader Philadelphia community, including at-risk youth, helping participants develop artistic skills, imagination, and self-esteem while encouraging continued school engagement. In February 2021, Portside launched a series of weekly summer camps, reflecting an expansion of its programming.
