Its model spans several European markets, with players in the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, Germany and Norway supporting both major charities and thousands of local causes. The organization is a privately held company owned by a non-profit foundation and is headquartered in Amsterdam, North Holland. In the philanthropic landscape, the Postcode Lottery Group is regarded as a major donor, having been ranked as the third largest private donor in the World Charity Index (2021).
