With the belief that every one has the right to an education and care, the Precious Project works to help those in extreme poverty have a better future. There are four significant projects that Precious has undertaken in the rural impoverished village in Nshupu, Tanzania. They are the care and education of orphans and abandoned children, delivery of quality education, implementation of agriculture best practices to achieve self-sustainability, and empowerment of women with skills to create micro enterprises. Precious was founded in 2010 by William and Sarah Modest in Tanzania. It became an independent US 501c(3) charity organization in 2014 under the direction of Susie Rheault and Gil Williams and supported by a team of passionate volunteers dedicated to Precious' cause.
