PRefChem is the combined operation of two joint ventures that manages a refinery and a petrochemical complex in Malaysia. The arrangement brings together Pengerang Refining Company Sdn Bhd and Pengerang Petrochemical Sdn Bhd, located within the Pengerang Integrated Complex in Johor. The refinery processes crude oil at a rate of 300,000 barrels per day and yields refined products such as jet fuel, motor gasoline, and diesel that meet Euro 5 specifications. The adjacent petrochemical unit can produce about 3.4 million tonnes per year and relies on refinery streams for its feedstock.

Based in Kompleks Penghulu, Johor, Malaysia, the company operates within the oil and gas sector as an integrated refining and petrochemical facility. It supports downstream and petrochemical production by providing refined products and feedstock for the complex’s operations.
