Probus Executive Search began operations in 1982 to serve the professional level Finance and Accounting and Manufacturing recruiting needs of the technology business community in the greater Silicon Valley Area. IT search was soon added with a nationwide scope for a wide range of industries. Probus is dedicated to identifying the highest caliber financial and IT professionals who are perfectly aligned to the needs and corporate culture of our clients. Our business is built on long-standing relationships that we have developed through our high quality service and ethical business practices. All of us at Probus have years of experience in the specialized functional areas where we recruit, and therefore have a genuine sensitivity and deep understanding of the needs of our clients and candidates. We understand the importance of working all professional levels of search from Manager through Vice President to keep us in tune with changes in the industry. 

In 2010, Probus added Transition Coaching as an additional discipline to better address the continually evolving needs of our clients.

In our ever-changing world of technology, more and more contact with clients and candidates is now done by email and social media. While these are a great medium for transmitting information, there is no real substitute for human interaction. We strongly prefer to do as much of our work as possible voice-to-voice and face-to-face. The search process is a very human business.
