Professional Liability Services, Inc. (PLS) is an industry leading professional liability insurance agency specializing in Lawyer Professional Liability (LPL). Licensed in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee, we partner with an impressive array of top-rated insurance carriers in order to meet our clients’ needs.  We work with our lawyer clients to assess their insurance needs not only to place their coverage, but to communicate with them regularly on a wide range of topics important to their law practices. Our services include periodic practice management tips and more in-depth risk and practice management consulting. We also present an annual ethics and professionalism seminar which reaches close to 1000 lawyers across the state.

Our agents include an experienced LPL defense lawyer who recently joined our staff.  We are active in industry organizations like the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and have strong relationships with LPL insurance carriers and wholesale brokers. These long-term relationships work to benefit both our insured clients and our partners in providing coverage and services to our clients. 

PLS works with both admitted carriers and surplus/excess carriers to provide tailored coverage for even the more "hard-to-place" risks. What's more, we assist our lawyer clients when claims or potential claims arise, including working with defense counsel appointed to represent them.
