Progress Texas is a non-profit media organization promoting progressive messages and actions in our state. We tell the progressive side of the story in our state to develop strong narratives around progressive issues and shape favorable public opinion. Follow us for daily updates in our newsfeed, on our website, and in the mainstream media as we work to build a stronger Texas. Our team of seasoned campaign and media pros develop great content with clear and compelling messages to inspire activism and voter participation. Founded in 2010, Progress Texas is an affiliate of the ProgressNow national network. While campaigns come and go, Progress Texas is the permanent home for progressive media, message, and activism in our state. Texas isn't as much a red state as it is a non-voting state. We’re getting better, but compared to the rest of the country our voter turnout ranked 41st overall in 2018. It’s up to all of us to do something about it. We’re building a stronger and more progressive Texas that focuses on the things that unite us instead of divide us.
