Pronto Spanish, a leader in language instruction for occupational Spanish, was created to help bridge the communication gap in the workplace. Supervisors, medical professionals, police officers, teachers, construction workers, and social workers are just a few of the professionals we have helped to communicate better with their Spanish-speaking clientele. In 2002, Tara Bradley Williams co-founded Pronto Spanish in order to get away from the traditional grammar instruction that is typically taught in a Spanish classroom. She wanted to help her adults students be able to communicate in their jobs - not learn about direct object placement. What started as Spanish Weekend Immersions and daytime conversation classes has morphed over the years into creating curriculum that is used by Spanish conversation classes all over the country, as well as online occupational Spanish classes. Our Spanish for Medical Professionals, Spanish for the Classroom, Spanish for Law Enforcement, and 13 other industries now are being offered through the networks of leading online providers, such as ed2go, ProTrain, and OpenSesame - which consist of more the 2500 colleges and corporations. While the products and services have changed, the mission and value statements have not. We help adult learners communicate in the Spanish language in an enjoyable, relaxed, effective and efficient manner.
