Providers Choice Inc. is a sponsor of the United States Department of Agriculture's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Since 1985, our mission has been to "support the child care professional". 

As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to supporting child care providers and child care center staff in their efforts to create nurturing environments to serve nutritious meals to participating children. As part of our sponsorship, our members receive annual food training and attend conferences and workshops. In addition, we also offer an array of materials that encourage and enhance opportunities for physical activities. 

In Minnesota, CACFP is managed by the Minnesota Department of Education. In turn, the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) contracts with nonprofit organizations called sponsors. Providers Choice proudly serves the entire state of Minnesota. We are the largest CACFP sponsor in Minnesota and the country, serving over 4,500 members. We’re known for our friendly and experienced staff, innovative technology and software, quality training and resources, and recipes and curriculum.
