PRSA Boston has been the coastal Northeast’s hub of PR creativity, ingenuity, and change for 70+ years. Arguably the public relations profession began on the banks of the Charles River, courtesy of industry patriarch and chapter member Edward L. Bernays. Thus, was established our chapter’s community of trailblazers, innovators, and leadership standard bearers: the founder of purpose marketing and agency titan Carol Cone, past PRSA National Chair and host of his ‘Ethical Voices’ podcast Mark McClennan, APR, Fellow PRSA, and more recent big ideas collector for his book ‘Invention in PR,’ Adam Ritchie, APR. Our list of Diane Davis Beacon and Silver Anvil Award recipients goes on. Leaders and changemakers flourish here. 

This region’s rich network of exceptional universities populates our chapter with the talent pipeline of tech-savvy social entrepreneurs with a deep commitment to brands with causes and values that align with their own. They bring energy and sensibility to the emergence of digital marketing, data analytics, cryptocurrency, and industries that call for versatile and inclusive global communicators. 

Chapter members instantly gain a network of 20,000 peers nationwide who are available as part of their training and development regimen.
