The mission of Public Safety Academy is to thoroughly train and prepare those involved in EMS, Fire Service, and Law Enforcement/Security operations for a lifetime of public service. Public Safety Academy is also committed to enhancing public safety by offering courses to the general public, providing career training, and introducing potential career opportunities in public safety to students.

Public Safety Academy provides educational opportunites and certifications in Emergency Medicine, Scuba Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine, and Firearms. Courses meet or exceed state and national standards and most are open to the general public.
