Qassim University is a higher education institution based in Buraydah, in the Al-Qassim region of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 2004 through the merger of King Saud University Qassim Branch and Imam University Qassim Branch, with the Education Colleges later joining the university. The university employs between 1,001 and 5,000 staff and operates in the higher education sector. It has engaged in external collaborations, including a 2026 cooperation agreement with the General Authority for Military Industries, participation in the National Forum for Crowd Management, and success at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions where it earned a gold medal and three silver medals in 2026.
