QTRCO, Inc. designs and manufactures valve actuators with a focus on safety, reliability, and ease of maintenance. The actuators are engineered for both control and on/off valve applications and are designed to allow safe replacement while the unit remains installed on the valve. A captured spring system positioned inward of the pistons enables safe access for maintenance without removing the actuator, emphasizing a design approach that seeks to minimize the likelihood of failure.

Headquartered in Tomball, Texas, the company is a small to mid-sized player in the automation machinery manufacturing sector with a history dating back to 1996. Its offerings include adapters to fit a range of valve types and direct mounting options, along with the XRCISER partial stroke testing device, which uses pneumatically engaged travel stops to prevent spurious valve travel and support emergency operation capability. The company notes that maintenance is unlikely, and when needed, service does not require proprietary parts, special training, or valve removal, while also providing low-cost options for full tag-out and manual override.
