The Queensland Resources Council (QRC) is a not-for-profit peak industry body in the mining sector. It represents the interests of more than 300 companies and about 400,000 people employed directly and indirectly in the sustainable development of Queensland's minerals and energy resources. The organization is based in Brisbane, Queensland, at 12 Creek Street, Brisbane 4000. In 2024, QRC launched an initiative aimed at creating job opportunities for groups currently underrepresented in the mining workforce. In 2023, leadership changed with Janette Hewson appointed as chief executive officer, succeeding Ian Macfarlane.
