Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is pleased to bring Questcor and its entire business into our company.
The former Questcor organization will be known as the Autoimmune and Rare Diseases business within Mallinckrodt’s Specialty Pharmaceuticals segment. We will continue their focus on the treatment of patients with serious, difficult-to-treat autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, primarily in the fields of neurology, nephrology, rheumatology and pulmonology, areas of medicine which have significant unmet medical needs.
A market-leader in specialty pharmaceuticals and medical imaging, Mallinckrodt develops, manufactures and markets products that diagnose serious illnesses and treat pain. Our pharmaceuticals business encompasses branded and generic products as well as the Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients used to make prescription drugs. Our imaging business focuses on contrast media and delivery systems plus nuclear medicine.
