The Rainier Valley Historical Society, based in Seattle, collects and preserves the history of the Rainier Valley and its residents. It interprets this history for the public and seeks to involve the community in understanding the region's heritage. Its geographic scope runs from Dearborn Street in the north to the southern city limits and from the I-5 corridor to Lake Washington.
