Ramsey Golf and Country Club is a historic property nestled near the heart of Ramsey in Bergen County, NJ, just 30 miles from Manhattan. Our Club is surrounded by a formal English garden, scenic 18-hole golf course, lakefront pool and beach and paddle tennis facility. Our famed 19th century stone castle Clubhouse is home to our restaurant the Lakeside Grille & Bar, and private dining facilities which include the Grand Ballroom and the Abbey Dining Room, all overlooking the 18th green and Mirror Lake. We offer an exclusive catering menu, and are happy to accommodate weddings, receptions, and private events. The 560 homes that encompass Ramsey Golf and Country Club further enhance the unique community for which our Club has become known. We are proud of the rich history and tradition of our Club which began in the early 1900's on a 220-acre estate. The original mansion was designed with ancient Norman architecture and modeled after the famous Ramsey Abbey in England. Much of the original architecture has remained in place throughout the decades, and is the foundation upon which we have created the beautiful Club we have today. While the privileges of our sporting activities are by private membership only, our dining and catering facilities are open to the public- where one can enjoy friendly and attentive service in a country club setting!
