The REACH (Resources for Education and Career Help) Center provides career, education, and personal development services for all young adults, ages 16-24, in the Tacoma/Pierce County area. Partnerships and collaboration are the most important components of The REACH Center. These are the organizations that provide the direct services and staff that will enable the young people an opportunity to be successful. At The REACH Center, young people have access to services that include: ■Develop skills to find a job. ■A computer room for job searches and other employment/education related needs. ■Internships (paid and unpaid) ■Training programs ■Job Fairs twice a year ■Assistance in identifying college financial aid ■Job Corps ■WorkForce Investment Act Partners ■Media Development ■Educational services for expelled/suspended students ■Barista Training Program ■Tutoring Services ■On-site GED classes and access to High School Completion Programs ■Information on Apprenticeships ■Classes that teach life-skills like healthy cooking and financial literacy. ■Community Resources ■Special Events ■YouthBuild (Goodwill) ■Many more opportunities are on the way!!
