Reading buses is one of Reading’s largest employers with 580 employees and operates 194 buses delivering 66,000 passenger journeys each day. Reading has recently risen to be the third highest bus using population in the UK outside of London and has a strong and mature economy, with hi-tech industries and the creative sector contributing significantly to its success. 

We’re proud to have been transporting customers in and around Reading for over 100 years. Yes, there’s a lot of history but we’re really focused on delivering a great bus service with accessible, modern and frequent services. Along with our owners, Reading Borough Council, we’re working to reduce car dependency for access to the area, both for visitors and residents, and make buses the best and easiest choice to get around.
