Rebound’s IcePoint® thermal storage capability has already proven to be the cheapest battery on the planet and will support decarbonization of the grid via year-round thermal storage and flexible demand. IcePoint® thermal storage capability is supported via the Inflation Reduction Act and utility rebate programs. Rebound Technologies has received funding from the National Science Foundation, The U.S. Department of Energy, Clean Energy Ventures, Skyview Ventures, and others.

Rebound commissioned its first full-scale commercial installation in 2023 and has demonstrated excellent performance with the world’s largest cold chain warehouse and distribution center, owner/operator – Lineage Logistics.
