Red Fox Coffee Merchants is a wholesale importer and exporter of coffee, operating from multiple strategic bases including Berkeley, California; Lima, Peru; and Oaxaca, Mexico. The company emphasizes building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and communities to strengthen the supply chain and ensure high-quality coffee reaches roasters and other buyers. Its approach ties base prices to cupping scores to promote transparency and sustainability while offering higher premiums for better quality, with a focus on supporting producers in remote or underserved areas. Serving roasters and beverage programs that need consistent, high-quality coffees, Red Fox positions itself as an intermediary that manages midstream logistics, from collection through milling and shipping, to preserve the coffee’s potential upon delivery. Recent partnerships, such as with Partners Coffee, illustrate ongoing collaboration to expand sourcing focus, including in Mexico, and reflect its multi-regional logistical capabilities.
