The council has agreed a new plan, which we hope will help us to make the area an even better place to live. With limited resources we know that we can’t do everything, but we think we can make the biggest difference by prioritising: • helping children and young people to get the best start in life. • helping people to live healthily and age well. • helping people to get a good job and have a nice place to live. • looking after the environment, trying to keep it clean and tidy. We know that we can do more by working together though, so would appreciate if you can help us in making the area a better place to live in, by: • Letting us know if you are worried about a vulnerable child or adult. • Recycle as much as you can. • Keep the area tidy by putting your litter in a bin or taking it home. • Get involved in your community and have your say. • Support our local businesses. • Talk up the local area.
