reDesign partners with K–12 schools, districts, and state agencies to make competency-based, learner-centered education workable across classrooms and systems. We co-design competencies and progressions, curriculum and performance tasks, grading and reporting, and leadership routines. We also provide practical AI supports that help educators draft high quality tasks, rubrics, feedback, and learning experiences. What we offer • CBE Catalyst (membership): Learning pathways, coaching, PLCs, and AI-enabled tools you can use with Future9, your own framework, or none yet. Options for individuals, schools, and districts. • Consulting & custom design: Adoption/adaptation of competency frameworks; performance assessment; grading/reporting; leadership coaching; and policy/systems alignment tailored to local context. • Future9 (open framework): 9 research-informed competencies for human flourishing—free to explore and use, with guides and AI tools for adaptation. Evidence • Scale: Work reaching 1M+ learners across 200+ systems and organizations. • South Carolina: A PCBL fellowship and tiered professional learning now run by the state; 87% of districts have engaged. • NYC transfer high schools: Multi-year Regents Exam gains tied to feedback-and-revision models; at North Queens Community HS, math pass rates rose by 20 percentage points for previously under-credited students. • New school design: 40+ launches supported. In Michigan, a competency-based high school’s first graduating class showed college-readiness above district and state averages; another school saw reading gains of four grade levels in its first year. Why partners choose reDesign • Clear moves for classrooms and leadership teams • Design that fits local goals and constraints • Plans with milestones and feedback loops • Tools (including AI partners) to support new practices If you’re building agency, belonging, & competency at scale, let’s talk.
