Reena is a nonprofit organization based in Vaughan, Ontario, that supports people with developmental disabilities and their families. Founded in 1973 by parents of children with developmental disabilities, it has grown to provide support for hundreds of individuals within a framework of Jewish culture and values. The organization operates as a faith-based community agency serving people from all denominations and supporting their dignity, independence and community inclusion, including their spiritual journey. Its broad service mix includes residential support, respite, counselling, therapy and advocacy. In addition, Reena offers more than 30 training courses, events and seminars to promote quality care.
