Ara Barsamian has 50+ years of experience in gasoline, diesel, and bunker blending. Graduating with a BS, MS in Engineering from The City University of New York, he started with Exxon Research & Engineering. After Exxon, he started 3 X Corporation, designing and implementing numerous blending projects. Eventually, 3 X Corporation was acquired by ABB Simcon. In 1998, he founded RAI and provided gasoline blending consulting services for 25 years. He is a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
