Relative Solutions helps multi-generational family enterprises manage the complex decisions related to their shared assets.  We guide families as they move along the continuum from operating businesses to owning and managing multiple assets, where a family’s emotional and financial lives are tied together in pursuit of their common future.

Our approach places the interest of the family ownership group first, including understanding each individual family client and their unique capabilities.

Using frameworks and tools that are recognized as setting the gold standard for benchmarking family enterprise sustainability and leadership capabilities, we help family members think and act differently in relationship with each other.  As a result, they are better able to conduct decision making, improve the management of change, and support an entrepreneurial approach to growing their assets.

Our effectiveness with a wide range of families and their enterprises is derived, in part, from an innate understanding of the economic and emotional lives of families along with the inter-generational challenges of differing communication styles, value systems, and work-life dynamics.  We believe that the growth of financial assets is inherently tied to the development of a family’s human capital:  the intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of what defines the family.
