The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC) operates as the Washington, DC hub for Jewish social justice and legislative engagement, functioning as the district office for the Union for Reform Judaism. It informs and mobilizes the Reform Jewish community across a broad policy agenda, advocating on more than 70 issues including economic justice, civil rights, religious liberty, and Israel. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, its advocacy is non-partisan and anchored in Jewish values of social justice. Based in Washington, District of Columbia, RAC is a small to mid-sized nonprofit focused on policy education and public advocacy within the political organizations sector. A notable recent development is the June 2025 publication of Infinite Value: A Resource Manual Promoting Transgender Belonging and Justice, produced by a RAC task force within the Commission on Social Action. The organization has pursued climate justice and antisemitism initiatives and supports related campaigns and cohorts within the Reform movement.
