The Rennie Center for Education Research and Policy is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit focused on improving public education through independent, non-partisan research and civic engagement. It serves educators and policy makers by providing a public space to consider evidence, discuss issues, and develop new approaches, with the aim of fostering thoughtful public discourse and informed policy making around education in the state. Founded in 2002 as part of MassINC and later establishing itself as an independent organization, the center operates from Boston and concentrates on reform efforts to advance education for all Massachusetts students. In addition to its core research and policy work, it has pursued partnerships and initiatives such as the Rennie R&D Labs, Action Guides, and collaborations that connect schools with broader community supports to embed research processes and evidence-informed practices into education.
