Laura Madrid has over 20 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry working globally with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and St. Regis Hotels and Resorts. The desire to travel was ingrained at a young age when Laura’s mother piloted a four-seat single-engine plane with Laura, her two brothers, and her Black Labrador to a new life in the Costa Rican countryside. Since then Laura has lived in Italy, Mexico, London and has travelled to over 50 countries as a youngster, later as a sales professional with luxury hotel companies, and in recent years escorting her own children for holidays around the globe.
With extensive personal travel experience throughout Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Northern Africa, and the Indian Ocean featuring Maldives, Mauritius, and Seychelles, Laura thrives on sharing her first hand experiences and recommendations.

Favorite trips include hiking to Machu Picchu, cruising the Nile River, elephant trekking in Thailand, skiing in Jackson Hole, and a perfect margarita on the beach in Mexico.
