As a proud affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International since 1986, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity has been partnering with local families and individuals to build more than 390 homes in the City of Richmond, Henrico County, and Chesterfield County.

At our core, Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call their home. We believe affordable housing plays a role that is critical in building strong and stable communities. By coordinating and working with dedicated volunteers, community partners, and corporate sponsors, families are able to purchase and move into houses they help build themselves—allowing them to truly have a safe place they can call home.
