Rise Up Together is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Oakland, California, that collaborates with women, girls, and allies who drive community and national change. It supports local leaders as they pursue equity in education, health, economic opportunity, and climate outcomes. Since 2009, the organization's network has grown to include more than 800 leaders and has helped advance 218 laws and policies, affecting about 172 million people worldwide. In November 2025, Rise Up Together launched an initiative aimed at strengthening gender equity and justice in Nigeria.
