RITMO RECORDS is celebrating its Tenth year in business and great things continue to happen! The Independent record label was created in 2003 by veteran singer/songwriter Daniel Mendoza with only a shoestring budget and blind faith. Since that time, RITMO RECORDS has grown far beyond its original projections in 2003 and at a much faster rate. The label finished 2nd in the 2005 Tejano Magazine "Best Tejano Record Label Of The Year" vote. RITMO RECORDS has also had the privelege of having six bands nominated for Tejano Music Awards as well as two finalists for Grammy nominations! CEO Daniel Mendoza was also voted as the runner up as 2005 "Most Influential Person in Tejano Music" by Tejano Magazine, and former Senior Vice President Bob Olivo was voted as "Tejano Person of The Year" for 2009.
