Ritter Sport is a German chocolate manufacturer with roots dating to 1912, founded by Alfred and Clara Ritter in Stuttgart. The company relocated to Waldenbuch in 1930 and introduced its square chocolate bar in 1932 to resist breaking in pockets. It remains a family-owned, mid-sized business now in its third generation, and since 2018 uses 100% certified sustainable cocoa for its entire range. Based in Waldenbuch, Baden-Württemberg, it serves chocolate lovers domestically and internationally within the food and beverage manufacturing industry. In 2026 it expanded its lineup with the Tasty Vibes collection, reflecting ongoing product innovation.
