Rivages du Monde is a travel arrangements company headquartered in Paris, France, at 19 Rue du 4 Septembre 1er Étage, 75002. The company has 51-200 employees. Founded in 2001 by Alain Souleille, it initially focused on Central Europe and Russia destinations and the design and marketing of river cruises on the Volga; it was renamed Rivages du Monde in 2004. Its program expanded to include river cruises on the Danube, Croatia, and the Mekong, with many additional destinations added over time. In January 2008, Rivages du Monde acquired Mondotours, a receptive operator specializing in organizing land travel in Russia and Eastern Europe, strengthening its position in that destination and in France. The company has pursued a premium river-cruise offering since 2012, with a 2017 collection featuring seven cruises on Asia, Russia, and Europe’s rivers and two maritime itineraries in Scotland and Patagonia, published in the brochure Croisières Les Grands Fleuves du Monde.
