Since 1974 River Sands has supplied the building, construction and water filtration industries in Australia as well as overseas, and has earned a reputation for quality, service and technical expertise. From humble beginnings in sand and filter media production, the company has grown considerably and now employs over 100 people throughout Australia. Today we operate in a wide variety of markets. Our product groups are marketed under the company’s five main brand names - Concrete Colour Systems (CCS), Applied Concrete Solutions (ACS), Easy Mix, Render Systems Australia. All products are made to a Quality System certified as complying with ISO 9001 and are backed by stringent R&D procedures at our in-house laboratory. Our products are exported to New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Philippines, New Caledonia, Fiji, Vanuatu, Greece, Portugal, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Malta and Tunisia. Our knowledge and experience in manufacturing our own cement based products lead to successfully packing and blending services for some of Australia’s largest suppliers of renders and textured coatings. Coupled with this knowledge is the strength of our distribution network and experienced sales and technical staff in all major cities throughout Australia. Our high volume manufacturing and distribution plant in Brisbane is designed to mix, blend and bag cement based products in an extremely rapid manner.
