Mission answers the question: what are we supposed to be doing? Jesus tells us, “Go make disciples of all the nations.” Simple. This is our mission at Rivertree. A verse that has become important for us in understanding how God wants to specifically see disciples made here is 1 Thessalonians 2:8, “We loved you so much that we shared with you not only the gospel but our own lives as well.” This verse shaped the mission statement of our church.
