Faced with a child’s illness, life shifts instantly, and parents enter a world of fear and worry. For parents who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs, there’s an added stress. Living expenses can quickly add up. There could be long drives from home to the hospital, worried siblings, lost jobs, finding and paying for nutritious meals. These are extra burdens no family should have to experience. With the generosity of our community and the efforts of our volunteers, staff and local McDonald’s restaurant owner operators, we are nurturing the health and well-being of children and their families through three core programs – the Ronald McDonald House® in Tucson, the Ronald McDonald Family Room®, and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®.
