Founded in 2010, Royal Basketball School began with a vision; to create year-round basketball program, that allows kids of all skill levels to reach their full potential. Our founder coach Igor Korolev saw a trend in youth basketball that was all about competition, with little to no focus on the essentials of the game. When first founded, the goal of Royal Basketball was to bring the attention of the sport back to fundamentals and mastering the techniques of basketball. The program start to grow rapidly, as people began to realize that classroom education and on-the-court education can be fused into one session. Fast-forward to today; Royal Basketball encompasses over 400 active students, ages 3-15, in 7 different locations throughout Southern California. Royal Basketball continues to carry on the legacy of coach Igor; whose coaching philosophy has led several of his students to play for various NBA teams such as the Timberwolves, Lakers, Clippers, Trail Blazers, Jazz, Nets, Blazers, and Bulls. 

At Royal Basketball School, you can find year-round after-school classes, weekend development leagues, private 1-on-1 coaching, summer camp, tournaments with club travel team, and events hosted at NBA and College games. We are most known for our after-school group practices, in which players attend one or more classes per week that focus on individual player development and game concepts. These sessions offer specialized instruction, emphasizing the fundamentals.
