The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a London-based ensemble in the Musicians industry, committed to presenting live orchestral music to broad audiences. Under the leadership of Music Director Vasily Petrenko, the orchestra performs around 200 concerts annually, spanning classical symphonic repertoire, collaborations with pop artists, and soundtracks for TV, video games, and film. Its mission centers on making music accessible to as many people as possible, reaching live and online audiences estimated at over 70 million each year. The group maintains a strong presence in London with flagship engagements at venues such as Cadogan Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall, and serves four UK regions as resident partners in Crawley, Hull, Northampton, and Reading, while also engaging in international collaborations. In addition to performance, the RPO runs the Resound education and community program, which continues to be a core part of its activity and White age range mission. A recent development includes partnerships and cultural exchanges in the UK-China and broader international context, reflecting the RPO’s ongoing efforts to expand its reach and collaborative projects.
