RT (formerly Russia Today) is a global international news network that broadcasts in multiple languages from its studios in Moscow and Washington, DC. Launched in December 2005 as Russia Today, RT now reaches nearly 650 million viewers worldwide. RT covers the major issues of our time for viewers wishing to question more and delivers stories often missed by the mainstream media to create news with an edge. Aside from regular news updates, RT offers a unique insight into many aspects of Russian history, culture and opinions. The RT network consists of three global news channels broadcasting in English, Spanish and Arabic, RT America broadcasting from a Washington, DC studio, a documentary channel RTDoc and a full-service video agency, RUPTLY.
