Rupp Austria GmbH is one of Europe’s leading cheese manufacturers and the largest family-owned company in the Austrian dairy industry.

Headquartered in Vorarlberg, Austria, we develop and produce cheese solutions for international markets – for our brands 𝗥𝗨𝗣𝗣 and 𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗔, as well as for retail, food service and industrial partners worldwide.

Rupp Austria GmbH employs more than 1,000 people across international locations including Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and China. Around 95% of our production is exported and our products are available in markets around the globe.

Our company’s roots date back to 1908, when Josef Rupp I. laid the foundation for a cheese-making tradition in Vorarlberg, Austria. What began as a regional cheese business has grown over generations into an internationally active food company, with the fourth generation of the Rupp family actively involved in the company's leadership today.
