Founded in 2007, Rural American Fund (RAF) is a private equity firm with an innovative, niche strategy targeting the favorable dynamics of the Agribusiness market.  The firm makes equity investments between $5 million and $10 million, focusing on strong lower middle-market Agribusiness operating companies with $10 million to $80 million in Revenue and minimum EBITDA of $2 million.  The investment strategy focuses heavily on the inputs segment of the Ag value chain where RAF sees compelling opportunities to apply its experience and expertise to drive top-line growth and improve operating performance to deliver superior investment returns.  The Fund does not invest in farmland, stand-alone real assets or Agricultural commodities.
