RVDA, The National RV Dealers Association, is a nonprofit trade organization that represents RV retailers. It aims to advance the retailers' interests through education, member services, industry leadership, and market expansion programs designed to increase sales and usage of recreational vehicles and to foster a positive image of the RV experience. The association operates at the national level, addressing dealer-manufacturer issues and state and federal legislation affecting the business, and it participates in industry-wide advertising initiatives such as the Go RVing campaign. The organization is based in Fairfax, Virginia, and employs a team typical of a mid-sized nonprofit. RVDA's primary customers are RV retailers and dealers seeking education, guidance on regulatory matters, and access to professional services to support operations and advocacy. In recent developments, RVDA partnered with the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association to advocate for tax policy changes that would allow floorplan financing interest charges on towable RVs to be deductible.
