This Carpentry and Core Skills training program, designed by Dr. Jacob Danner, prepares students with the fundamental skills and trade experience to embark on a carpentry career. Carpentry classes and curriculum include basic safety, proper tool use, introduction to construction drawings and math, framing techniques, and other related subjects. This skilled trade involves the handling and installation of building materials needed for the construction of residential and light commercial buildings. Students receive hands-on training while being paid.
