SafeSpot is a safe, child-friendly location where children who have disclosed abuse receive care and are helped to heal from the trauma they have suffered.  We serve children and families in Fairfax County by providing an interview with a trained forensic interviewer, during which the child can share their story.  Non-offending family members receive support from our family advocate.  We also provide trauma-focused therapy aimed at helping the child begin to heal.  All at no cost to the family.  Our goal is to minimize trauma, promote healing, ensure child safety, strengthen families, and hold perpetrators accountable.
